hi

I am type 2 and had it for 2 years, I am 68 and male.

Now I know there are different types of cholesterol but I can only say at the moment that my total cholesterol is 106 mg/dl
this seems to translate to 2.74 mmol/l.

Without the other measurements is this level ok.

Without knowing what the breakdown is, it is difficult to answer your question. The total amount is meaningless taken on its own. However, generally speaking, a total cholesterol of under 3 is too low.
