I am Type 1 and have taken Chromium for about 2 years. I find that if I don't take it my blood sugars rise. I don't know what happens in the long term because I usually strart taking it again. A tip ........ Holland and Barrett don't like selling it without a GP's permission, but Healthy Direct don't have any problems.
Hi I'm prediabetic and my daughter was diagnosed with type 1 2 years ago. My doctor suggested I try, chromium. I am giving it to my daughter as well. It has helped with both of us. I don't understand why there isn't more information out there regarding this supplement. Hope this helps.
