Last night as I got in to bed really strange feeling came over me, really sleepy, shakey, and felt like my body was really heavy then I woke up outside bed sheets fully clothed 2 hours later. Not sure if I fell asleep or passed out. Do others get like this?

Something similar happened to me prior to diagnosis and getting my BG on an even keel. I'd had a binge on ice cream and must have gone on a massive BG roller coaster ride. It's not an experience I ever want to go through again, that's for sure.

If you have a meter then my first advise would be to try and test whenever you feel 'strange', that way if it is related to BS you will hopefully start to see a pattern in how you feel and whether your bloods are high or low. If you test and your BS is normal you have also eliminated one possible cause and at that point it is probably worth seeing the doctor to try and find out the cause.

Hope you feel better soon.

Have been checking my bs once when I wake 2 hours after my main meal and before bed. 6.2 in morning, 11.2 lunch and 13 evening. I have doctors tomorrow so will speak with them about it.

I feel like this regularly a tiredness comes over me and I have to lay down and rest sleep a little and then I seems to be ok for a while.
