Circulation & infection

Hi all,
long time since I logged on.

Does anyone have any experience of the following?

I have had problems with agnails recently, and a couple of them have become infected I think.
It's weird, as I have 2 or 3 fingers that are glowing red & hot, whilst the rest are white and frozen. I know my circulation isn't brilliant these days, but if the hot fingers are infected I'd have thought it would have spread to the rest of the hands over the last few days.

Any ideas please?

Apologies for the delay in replying, I couldn't log in for some reason.

I haven't been to the doctor's about it yet, no.
Chilblains? I don't think so.

I'm fairly sure it is where I've nibbled and fiddled with the agnails and maybe got something into the broken skin infecting them. The redness and localised heat seem to support the infection theory in my mind.
It's just odd only the tips to first finger joints are affected and it hasn't spread beyond (...yet?).

If they're still bad I will mention it when I see the nurse next week.
