As a type 2 with sugars running over 9 for last 5 weeks should I ask for these? I am prone to kidney infection and have had pyelonephritis once 3 years ago. I was told I had traces of protein and blood in my urine whilst in hospital 5 weeks ago but nothing else was done except treating pancreatitis.
