Cockles

Mmmm! Shellfish some of my favourite food,.

I have never eaten fresh cockles or those whelk thingies, as we do not have them here in Australia. We can get clams, or it's indigenous name of eugaries here on the local beaches which would be similar to the cockles.

As you said about adding vinegar, we do that plus a bit of white pepper sprinkled on them.
