Coffee...

Are you drinking coffee with a dash of milk or going for a full blown cappucino/late with lots of milk? I don't find coffee on it's own affects me too much even if it is a cappo. At home I've got a Nespresso capsule machine which is just pure coffeer and no added bits (I',m assuming that the Tassimo have added bits of gluose/milk powder but I don't know about them much) and I add a bit of frothed milk but NO sprinkles.

Hello Chris, I am lactose intolerant so no milk products for me. I love espresso and do take sugar with it but I don't have it too often. I weaned myself off sugar years ago. I used to take 2 tsps which was quite a lot. I also have "soft" teeth and they hurt if I eat or drink anything too sweet. I drink a soft drink occasionally but try to avoid pre-sweetened drinks. Cranberry juice is high in sugar which I didn't know until my doctor told me not to drink it too often.

I drink coffee without effect on my levels, I have it with soy milk and a couple dashes of cinnamon … my current fav because of the weather is a tall glass of coffee over ice with a cup of soy milk mmmmmmmm

I am an avid coffee drinker and can on some days drink up to 10 cups..... I know the caffeine is bad for me but really if it's the only vice I have I am happy

Gosh! 10 cups a day - and I thought I was being indulgent on 3 or 4. I used to think the caffeine was responsible for my restless legs so cut down quite a bit, but it didn't really make much difference and neither did decaf, so that was that theory out the window.
