Sorry everyone, not been online for a couple of days. Feeling very humbled by your comments , I only wrote this up as a kind of epiphany, but to have such a welcoming and supportive response, thankyou
I'll still be on the forum, don't worry! This is only the beginning of the end, as it were. I'm already having trouble with these low levels - am now hypoing everywhere!
Still, it's got to be better than DKA, right? :wink: Am seeing my DN anyway on Friday so will set out an action plan then.
Thanks, once again. I just hope I don't see any teenage diabetics who aren't looking after themselves when I start my nursing placements, I'll be reading the hypocritical riot act
