last week I thought I would come off my meds and monitor it and see how’s it goes the meds are
1 Alogliptin 25 mg
2 gliclazide 40 mg
Since coming off my weight as dropped and I feel bette. My finger prick test are around 7 but as low as 4.8
i am testing 4 times a day to keep an eye on what is happening.
I thought they would go up at first but they did not.
what do you all think

It would be better to speak to your gp first before stopping your medication.
Testing 4 times a day is only a snapshot, and you could well be missing highs. Have you tried a two week trial of Abbott Freestyle libre, which gives you continuous monitoring. If not, I'd give them a ring.
Agree with @ATB123 & @Hopeful34 - I reduced my all my meds slowly with the help and consent of my GP, it is best that your GCP are in the loop so as to avoid any confusion. Whilst I was decreasing my meds I tested, fasting first bite & 2 hrs after each meal & before bed. CGM weren’t readily available then to T2 but as @Hopeful34 suggests it’s a good idea if you can get one on free trial to give you an even more accurate picture of your BG
