Complications with Prediabetes

Morning! (in New Zealand anyway)

Was wondering if i could still get diabetes complications with being Prediabetic?

My doctor said i wont, and my numbers are good (im guessing as i dont test anymore, but eat low gi etc) reason im asking is i have a small numb spot on my big toe, no tingling etc, its just numb.

I'd have thought very unlikely on the basis that if your BGs were high enough to give you neuropathy, you'd be diabetic not pre diabetic. Even if you were re diagnosed after a new blood test, I wouldn't have thought your BGs could have been high enough for long enough
