I always use the Calorie, Carb and Fat Diary for my carbs. In here it says broccoli is 1.1g of carbs per 100g and cauliflower is 2.1g carbs per 100g. On my iPhone app Broccoli is 7g carbs/100g which is a big difference! What is the correct counts for both please as am confused?
The lower figures are the carbs net of insoluble fibre (standard UK practice).
iPhone app being US quotes Gross figure which includes the insoluble fibre which is still stricly speaking a carb and needs to be subtracted.
