Mine can also drop post meals. It depends on how active you are as well. I also try and eat every 3 hours, otherwise it drops too low and like Jack412 says I then end up spiking probably because my liver releases more sugar, and I have something to eat and my body can't deal with both - . (Although by spiking I still only mean 7.2). Try testing 1 hour after you've eaten and see if you hit the peak earlier than 2 hours. But well done with your control.
