Confused over new meds

I've been started Empagliflozin today. Do I carry on with my gliclazide as well? I'm sure the consultant told me to, but the diabetes nurse is saying no?

We can not advise you about your medications. You need to get in touch with your consultant to clarify.

your blood sugars will go extremely low taking both so be aware. They can be taken together, as I did take both as advised by my doctor, but it is best to check with your doctor to know for certain.
