I've had a bad few years, but am in recovery now.
I'm on Humilin mixed fast and slow release, twice daily. and up to 6 weeks ago was taking 45-50 units a time
But discovered a great eating plan, and have come down to an average of 7.5 in the old scale. also lost 18 pounds in weight and reduced insulin to 36 and 28 . However yesterday morning had my usual 0 carb breakfast. and suddenly went a but "funny". so i tested and i'd crashed to 3.1 so took some sugar and a slice of toast with jam. which fixed it, although shot too high. but it came down again by mid morning.
However since then any test i do. reads exactly the same. 11.5 not eaten, or eaten, seems the meter is stuck on a reading. or my hba1c is stuck at 11.5. just need to know whats gone wrong. stil lfollowing eating plan. but testing is very muck stuck.
