Confusion over readings

The best sweetener is Sweet Freedom syrup it comes in Chcolate sauce as well get it from Holland & Barrett a also supermarket’s, then there is True Sweet granulated sweetener with no after taste these are plant based so natural

I use Stevia sweeteners from Aldi. I'm hoping to ditch these soon.

I’m as reactive as you @IanBish, I had a regular (not reduced carb) small ciabatta roll yesterday and BG went from 5.2 to 11.5 two hours later! I’m having to be so careful as I’m back on the waiting list for a spinal stenosis operation and they’ll only do it if my hba1c is below 69. It was moving house and lifting heavy boxes after my husband died that did it so hopefully after the op I’ll be raring to go!

Is it expensive? I usually buy erythritol from Amazon although I only put it in mid morning coffee and if I occasionally bake
They're 60p for 100 tablets. They do a granulated version too, but I don't buy that.

The Sweet Freedom syrups and Tru Sweet granulated are just over £2 but well worth it they do last I only use them on cereal or fruit and yoghurt and the choColgate sauce is great you can make a hot choc drink with it, they do them in supermarkets and H&B
