Constant sleepiness

Hi folks. I wonder if you have a similar problem with constant sleepiness as one year progressed. I asked my doctors to double glyclazide as the 40mg before 10 years of diabetes, and she consent to 80mg as I asked. With the month after month the blood sugar rose to 15bg and as such I think I had hyperglycedia. I think I should consult to my GP soon. I think the problem is bg, but as I am not a dr. I wonder if the problem is not kidney failure.

Have you tried lowering your blood glucose (BG) with low carb diet? Do you test your BG regularly (before & after meals)? High carb intake makes you sleepy. Could this be the problem?

Yes, but the diabetic drugs are no longer the right dose. I have been diabetic 10 years and only 40mg to 80mg. I think that has raised bg.
