Consultation Appointment

I ate 40 carbs. Yes do test bloods and use libre I was on 11 at 6.30pm. The Tresiba kicked in 7.15pm.

The data doesn't reflect what happens. I know if I go to bed on 12 and it's dropping then I will continue to drop fast.

Example 10.30pm I ate Cereal bar 10 carbs should raise levels by 3. By 2am level dropped

If I don't do hypo prevention I will drop 6 to 10 levels fast. Just want to stabilise over night Tempted to try mars bar but not sure how long it would last?

8.30pm 13
10.30pm 12.4 Cereal bar 10 carbs
2am 11.6
4am 10.6 snack 10 carbs to keep me going til breakfast
8am 6.2

Feel good during day on 20 but struggle with drop 7 hours after.

19 slows it down marginally but my chest feels tight and Ketones rise.

I can't understand why ketones are involved if you BG is within normal range, can you explain? (unless you're on a keto diet?)
 
Unfortunately my blood sugar is not within normal range. They have to be higher to get me through night.

Had Ketones after coming off pump very sensitive to background insulin adjustments.

Apparently I'm an enigma .. My consultant says.

Tried uploading says file too large.

Dropped to 2.6 this morning after eating at 3am not good for digestive system.
