Hi Peepsies,

Does anyone know please whether I would be able to take Contact tablets when I get my next cold, as I really suffer from bad congestion with sinuses without a cold, & normally all I take for one is sugar free Robutissin for Chesty coughs. I take metformin twice a day, simvastatin, ramparil, a slow release thing I can't remember its name. If I could take the Contact it would help me be able to breathe. I get that bunged up and chesty I struggle at times.. Thanx in advance

Hi

Give your local pharmacist a visit or telephone them, they are experts in the way in which drugs interact with each other

I find them usually more help than doctors.

Hi like Cara says why don't you go to chemist where you get your prescription dispensed and ask to speak to pharmacist they will be able to inform you about the cold tablets (contact) if they interact with any of the medications you already take.
