Type 2 Coronary Artery Calcium Score CAC

I made a subject access request and now have the imaging on a CD.

I have mine too. My request wasn't related to the research, but something else.

Ooooh. I’m going to ask again. At the time I asked for the files which I was told would be an issue. Now I know you’ve got yours it makes asking again so much easier. Thanks!! ( I won’t bug them for a day or two as I’ve only just posted back the 24 hr blood pressure monitor. )

To be honest, I would leave it longer than a day or two, or you might be disappointed by what you gate.

They can only provide what is there when you ask, so if the final reports on your scans etc., haven't been done, you won't get them.

I would leave it a couple of weeks, at least.

My Data Subject Access request was as a result of a particularly patronising consultant (not Cardio) told me I didn't need to know test results, I just needed his glib, "they're fine" feedback. Red rag to a bull? You bet your life it was.

On that basis, I asked for everything held at the hospital, and so it came.

But honestly, don't be too impatient.

How we ask can be as useful as what we ask. It's all "words" but those can make one helluva difference to how the request is received and actioned. Such as "I was assured that if I waited *****days for you to get the results in, I could have a copy". The people who action the clerical stuff are way down the food chain, probably very overworked and unlikely to object to such a simple request.

I get your drift and agree. I’ll forget about it for a good few weeks then get back on the case. Thanks for your thoughts….

I’m calming myself down. Um-te-dum. Ok all better now. I’ll forget about it all for a month. Thanks ….
