You can buy the thinner yoghurt then strain it through a fine sieve (slowly no pressing) over a bowl to give a thicker product.I continue to be unable to find Greek yoghurt in any of the local supermarkets, and the "Greek Style" is too watery for me, given that I still have a few pounds to lose and so rely on the Greek yoghurt to stay my hunger until the proper meal of the day. I was wondering about substituting cottage cheese until Greek yoghurt supplies return. I know I can (and will) look up ingredients, but wonder if any of you have information on whether starches are added to cottage cheese the way they are to certain yoghurts. If anyone knows, it will be the team here!
