After years... no decades of shying away from strength training.
I stopped stuffing my ears with my fingers, and going la-la-la-la!! and decided to take the plunge.
I consulted with one of the FT at the gym, who has devised a plan for me.
The first week was haaaard..I ached in places I did not know I had muscles.

I persevered.
I still ache, but I have had a massive Paradigm shift.
Now I know that so long as I use proper form, and do not overdo or overwork anything, I should expect all will be well.
Its just micro tears of muscle being torn down to be rebuilt stronger and bigger

Most astonishingly, my 2hrs PP reading on the glucometer after dinner tonight was a wonderful, beautiful, glorious, 4.2mmol/l.
Granted the meal was Keto, so I was not expecting anything that has anything to do with a spike, I was still glad to see that I could be that low PP and the only new thing, I am doing is that I am strength training.

I can't wait to see where this leads

Keep it up, it seems to have given you a buzz!

Great stuff @brassyblonde900 I find the initial session puts my BG up, but then the subsequent daily readings are usually much improved.
