I'm generally fairly fit and healthy and do a fair amount of walking each day..20mins each way to and from work and then usually a 30-60 minute walk with the dog after work. I have been low carbing for 3 weeks now and have just recently started having problems with my knees, I had extreme pain in my knee cap last night after climbing the stairs and then today I had a sharp pain in my knee again which forced my knee to give way. Could this be related to low carb? I can't see anything on any of the boards about this but it did turn up a few results on google. Has anyone else experienced this? Or have any suggestions of how to overcome this?

I also have knee pains which i must admit hurts a lot when going up and down stairs or hills, but think it general wear and tear ...
