Hi all
I have a question... Lately I've been experiencing what feel like hypoglycaemic attacks on my way to uni after walking for around 10 minutes. All of a sudden my knees will go like jelly and I will feel very light-headed and kind of out of it. I always carry a cereal bar around with me in case this happens and usually I feel fine after eating one.
I don't want to go to the doctors yet in case its nothing so I thought I would ask on here first before I go wasting anybody's time.
It is possible your blood sugar is going lower than your body is used to. However you don't need to go to the doctors you could always go in to a local pharmacy to ask them to check your blood sugar. Or if you know someone who tests then ask them to check it for them.
would defo head to the docs this has happened to me twice and Im not diabetic first time my blood pressure dipped to low second time i turned out to be anemic so even if you get your bloods tested could be a number of things with them symptoms better be safe than sorry x
The fact that you feel better after eating your cereal bar points towards your sugar levels. Try monitoring them throughout a week or month and record the results...
