I found this paper in my travels. It is a follow on from some research that I noted earlier in the year

If this hypothesis gets to be proven to be valid, then it opens the door for a simple screening process like we already use for our ancestry. The technology exists to do that.
If they can bottle the test in the same way as the quickie self test for Covid which reacts to the Covid antibodies then that would be a winner.
