So I am going to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Bali and I'm sure while I am there I shall be eating different foods than I am used to and not sure if I'll always be able to work out the carbs in the foods i eat, does anyone know any websites, books, apps or anything that I would be able to access the information to help me count carbs for the foods I am likely to be eating in these countries?
I would try the carbs and cals app. It has pictures of foods and meals and a carb content for them. It will have a variety of noodles. Not sure what else to expect for Thai, Vietnamese, Balinese food. Have you tried doing a few take always or restaurants with Thai food to see if you can carb count those ok? I expect takeaways would be likely to be slightly higher in carbs than authentic Thai cuisine, but it might be worth trying it to see how you get on.
Ahh yeah I have the carbs and Cals app it's so useful I just wasn't sure if there was an equivalent to that for their kinda food, that's a good idea I will defo do that before I go thank you so much
