Counting carbs

Very well done indeed.. did you find it quite easy once you got your head round it or was it tough?
Hopefully the former ... great results anyway.

Thanks Not easy, no but that more psychologically than anything like feeling hungry. I think that's more about how my noggin works and how I got in a dietary mess in the first place! I can go a bit extreme and that's how I can end up bingeing. Now if I am peckish but not hungry I have some nuts instead of a biscuit (ha "a biscuit" more like half a packet! ) There was a lot of melodramatic angst about whether a life without chocolate is worth living. I am convinced it was a full blown addiction, these food manufacturers know what they are doing!

Thank you! I am glad for you too That's a very active day compared to me on a settee with the telly ! Not tried the jelly yet but I will !

Well done @VioletViolet You have cracked it.

Now the hard work begins to maintain it! I'm not trying to put you off in any way, but we all need to be vigilant even if we have non-diabetic numbers. Keep it up, keep testing to keep an eye on things, and keep posting.

Oh absolutely - it's the start of something not the end of something I think. Just glad this place is here, I could not do it alone.

Know what you mean.. I thought I had my various food problems under control but once I start on the nuts... stopping is way harder.. that's why I find it easier to fast.. If I can stop myself starting to eat then I can control it.. once I get started its really hard to know when to say no more... good luck anyway..

That's excellent!
