Evening Im a newbie here so hope this is okay! Just wanted some advice from people who might be in the same boat! I am type 1 diabetic and my dad is type 2, i live at home with my parents. I have been distancing from my boyfriend for 4 months now who lives with his family as well. People seem to be joining back up with relatives again and I dont know where I stand now and what's safe! I have been seeing him at a distance but I just wanted to know if anyone else has the same situation and what they are doing about seeing their partners!

Thank you in advance!

I not in the exactly the same situation, but I have father is 92 years old and he lives in another state that I live in. If I have to see him I will make sure that I take the conv-19 test before attempting to see him and try to isolate myself for two weeks to make sure everything is OK

Best of Luck

Hi @Scarlett-Rose, if it was me in your situation, I think what I would have to consider is what my partner and their family have been doing, where they have been going, who they have been seeing. If they've been going out, mixing with lots of people and not being particularly careful then that's a different matter to if they have been staying home, limiting their outings and not having visitors.
That's just me though, different people will have other opinions

Hi @Scarlett-Rose ,

Welcome to the forum.. Long time since I "courted."

Depends on the COVID cases still happening in your neck of the woods. (Or lack of.)
Probably be looking at (agreeing with @sleepster on this one.) yer fella's personal social interactions during this time?
Any selfies with mates on FB lately down a recently opened pub? Life does go on.

Your position is not like the socially distanced band session I had the other week in a disused cow yard in the middle of nowhere using radio gear.. (Too much lag to use video conferencing with music.) I kept at least 20 meters away as the vocalist singing out into a field..

Appreciated, hook ups are (cough.) intimate..

All the best.

Hey thanks for your reply! He is careful, does go to the pub or anything, the problem is his job, hes a manager in retail... and as for his family i dont know what they are doing, so hard we both live with our families still!
