When choosing the alternative do you think about anything else other than the carb content? With the negative effects of soy on testosterone levels in men and the possible negative effects on thyroid function I stear clear of all soy containing products. I saw in another thread that someone was using Almond milk.... need to get hold of some of this! Apparently you can make great low carb bread with it! :thumbup:
I have started on soya milk today, and will now stay on it. I drink quite a bit of tea a day and regular milk was just pushing my daily carbs higher than I felt comfortable with. I am hyper aware of the dangers of too many carbs and yes, that is my only concern.
