Cream confusion...

Me too, I get upset and head for the cheese and onion crisps, and a glass or two of wine. Problem is I don't stop at one packet.
Been finding it hard the last couple of days, our lovely 12 year old dog is not so well. Tummy upset. 18 months ago she had liver problems, but she's been doing very well.
Walking her each day helps my bs.

Weeeelll...

There's LC hot choc
LC 3 minute mug cakes
Grated 70% choc on berries, with cream
70 % choc by itself
Or melted and stirred into cream
Choc truffles
Choc biscuits...

I recently made some peanut butter cookies, then sat a square of dark choc on the top of them while they were still warm. They were lush.

Let me know if any of those appeal, and I'll root out the recipe.

I know what you mean, I lost my staffy, Lotte, a year ago. She was 15 and I had to make the decision to let her go because she was so ill with Cushings disease and a brain tumour. I do hope your little dog gets well soon. They are such a huge part of our lives, just like children i think. I have my little Jackahuaha, Prince. to walk with now and ive found it has a positive effect on my bg too

The mug cake and peanut cookies sound delicious! Id love to give them a try please. My mouth is watering now lol

My hair has been getting very thin over the last few months, is that a diabetic thing?
And I'm so glad I live alone, there's no-one tempting me with goodies I can't eat!

Sandy is a staffy cross, a rescue dog, she has such a lovely nature. Husband has arthritis and walking her when i was at work has helped keep him active.

I googled my symptoms, diabetes and low thyroid function came up. As I already knew I had diabetes i presumed that was the cause. Having said that, since ive been doing this lchf plan ive not needed a nap during the day and only woke once through the night compared to every hour previously

Hope she's ok! I know what a worry they are, my 12 year old has pancreatitis but seems to be doing ok with the meds he's on. We lost his Mum last July, she was 14 and in a lot of pain, still miss her

Just saw your wine comment, I think it's great I can drink red wine without it affecting my BG

staffys get such a hard time in the press. My girl grew up with my boys and I never had a days trouble. My ex hub kept her when we split-i was heartbroken leaving her, then 4 years ago he messaged me New Year's Day to tell me he'd got drunk and had kicked the living daylights out of her because he was angry that his texts wouldn't send. She came to live with me that day and never went back. I will never get over the guilt of leaving her and her going through that. She was such a beautiful gentle dog who just didn't deserve such cruelty. And she still ran to greet him when he came to visit our children. Gosh ive got myself crying now, I do miss her so much

I just wish I could drink something stronger than water. Alcohol just doesn't agree with me, makes me feel sick and im too much of a self control freak to be even slightly tipsy lol

No worries!

Just don't be disappointed if they aren't perfect first time (I found the cookies far too sweet, and have since cut down on the sweetener), just keep tweaking LC recipes until they suit you.

I can only have one, it would affect other meds if I had any more. But it's still a lovely treat

Just need to get the different flours. Can't wait to make them. Life without chocolate is far worse for me than life without love

I haven't got the cocnut flour but it's only a tsp, so shouldn't miss it too much, will just use an extra ts of almond flour.
And I haven't got the Lindt chocolate, don't like it! Got everything else though so will make some tomorrow
