What's your thoughts on unexplained sighting of mysterious creatures? Personally I love the idea of undiscovered beasties roaming around in remote parts of the world.

I believe!!! I am surrounded by trees and I keep telling my friends and neighbours that I have vampire rabbits living in nests at the back they think I am crazy but they will not come down in the dark

My dad always believed in fairies at the bottom of the garden. But his real claim was 50 odd years ago mum and dad were driving through the hertfordshire countryside on a windy country road when a VERY large black cat jumped over a hedge in front of them. Dad (and mum or I would have taken the story with a pinch of salt!!) described the cat as being considerably bigger than a german shepherd. It looked at them, then cleared another 6 ft hedge and was gone. My folks went straight to the police station to report it. They weren't the first apparently there had been multiple sightings. No big cats had been reported missing.

Cool huh?

Your friend are very wise.. Vampire bunnies give a nasty nip!!

Lots of evidence to support big cats in the British countryside. Cats are smart can easily remain out of sight, they're hunting strategy relies on that very ability.

I live in a mobile home (for any americans here Not trailer trash!) so I can hear things on my roof and they have parties up there, it seems that the nests they have are to small, the main nest are built in big bunches of mistltoe one for each family. When I give my dog his food sometimes he is not interested to eat at that moment, until I say the Bunnies are coming then he eats the lot and hides behind my coffee table. Its no wonder my hair has gone grey (nothing to do with my age I am sure)

Hi Peterjones6000... We too live in mobile homes...we have two with a bridging unit in the middle. Wouldn't swap them for anything.

I can beat that!!!!! about 3 years ago in the new year it rained, rained and rained and I live 100m from a small lake and 100m in a slightly different direction is a river which feeds the biggest natural lake in Brittany Lac a small lake and the river are not joined. After a week 10 days of rain the big lake began to flood then the river into the small lake and it went on. My mobile is just high enough to escape damage but I could stand on my deck and fish, the water was waist deep and fast flowing even my labrador was to worried to go into it. So now you see why I have rabbits living in trees.

I have seen bigfoot in Jedidiah Smith State Park, Northern California about 30 years ago. He smells like a garbage bear but is much taller and thinner than a brown bear. This was before I started diabetic medication. Later, an article appeared in the newspaper saying that a forestry worker had been impersonating bigfoot to scare hikers away from his marijuana patch.

I have been stalked by a cougar in Republic, Washington, USA. He stalked me around the fields near a friends house for a few weeks then jumped in front of my truck and he stood there staring at me as I tried to leave. I slowly rolled up the manual crank windows on my truck and he leapt back into the underbrush just as I got the second window closed.

I saw a UFO in area 51 in Nevada/Arizona as I got lost driving to see relatives. It had rotating white and red flashing lights and followed me for a while then made several rapid low passes over the same truck listed above. It scared the (...trying to think of a polite word) out of me. One of my uncles who was in the military called me shortly after this happened and asked if I had entered area 51. I told him yes, I was lost and nearly out of gas out there. He told me to stay out of there "There are things there you don't understand and you will be arrested if you go there again." About 10 years later military drones were in the news and OMG, they looked exactly like the UFO.

I have always wanted to see Nessy. It started when Peter, Paul, and Mary made a record of "Puff, the Magic Dragon" when I was small.

The Loch Ness monster (Nessy) is most likely a Greenland shark. They are large and elusive creatures and very little is known about them. Jeremy Wade from the show River Monsters did a whole episode on it once.

Although I do love the idea of a prehistoric lake monster.

Vampire Squirrels?. Must tell my mum it'll do her head in.. She can't cope with the grey squirrels in her garden

We currently have a wasps nest in the eaves of our van! They are now coming down the chimney flu and INTO the van. Mr E has to regularly evict the little buzzers! There were 12 in here one morning!! We currently have five in here at the moment. Two Queens from the buzz amongst them. I worry about my little dogs.

I have a wasps nest in my shed. Hopefully it will be too cold for them soon.

That is what we are hoping for mist!

They are wonderfully constructed aren't they?

Bees are fine, but wasps and hornets have no place in my life..
They have a function too mist.... just not where I am sitting. Couple of weeks ago we had a couple of hornets around...beautiful animals they were.

According to Mrs h-c we have enormous spiders the size of a dinner plate, lurking at hay-char Towers. However, they are possessed of extraordinary metabolic properties because when they are pointed out to me, they seem to have shrunk to the size of, erm, an ordinary spider.

Downright baffling, that's what it is
