I went to the supermarket left all the doors open for my dog, when I returned lying nicely dead on my living room floor were 2 BIG dead hornets and my dog looking very pleased with himself. I dont know how or if he managed without being stung, or did he call his friends the vampire rabbits to help him?

Most of us girlies exaggerate the size of most things, just saying .

Oh! you mean you say Yes dear what ever you say, Ha! Ha!

And then no so secretly do the opposite. You're sort of part way there to fathoming a female out. But let it be known that when you think you have us sorted, we switch the posts so you have to start all over again. mwhahahaha

Are there any good pictures of Nessy in River Monsters? I will look up Greenland Sharks-I am not familiar with them.

No, but this is a Greenland shark, which is most likely what is being spotted in the Loch.

Where's his teef!

They have a function too mist.... just not where I am sitting. Couple of weeks ago we had a couple of hornets around...beautiful animals they were.
I don't want to alarm you @ellagy, but be carefull. Should someone come in and help you with the wasps, if they don't die down as the temperature drops, they may stay all winter...

My dad was 6ft 4 and terrified of spiders. Very funny watching him pretend to be brave, bless him

They scare me too. I'm fine with rats, snakes..etc..but spiders are a big no no

I once trapped a big one (spider) using a single (round piece of vinyl about 9 inches round and about a 1/4 inch thin) and a very large soap dish.

I was very proud of myself. Dad nearly fainted... Oops

Love snakes, my other next door neighbour has them (though they do smell funny). Rats are clever friendly things if they're handled well. Slight problem with the tail though.

I have another bigfoot sighting to report!:

We have a big one, about the size of a football if not bigger, in our loft. We brought some foam wasp nest killer stuff but my husband got stung twice in the process of trying to squirt it so gave up. We've got someone from the council on coming Friday to get rid.
