Hello,

I'm a type 2 diabetes and liver cirrhosis sufferer, but I've recently been experiencing heart palpitations and I think it may be down to the dapagliflozin (5mg) tablets I've started, however my doctor doesn't seem to think so? Just wondered if anyone else has experienced palps with this medication?

Palpitations are sometimes caused by an erratic heart rhythm (arrhythmia such as atrial fibrillation or ectopic heart beats), or a fast heart rate. Dapaglifloxin is known to cause fast heart rates in some people.

I urge you to ask your doctor to have a re-think.
