Dead sea salt

Dont know if anyone can help but can i use dead sea salt in a bath? I have pityriasis lichenoides which leave a rash on my body and ive heard dead sea salt can help, i have type 2 diabetes.
 
Would be similar to swimming in the sea I guess.. can't see any reason why not..
