Hi there. I'm new here and i need help from you. My daughter recently was diagnosed with neonatal diabetes. Last week we started using Dexcom G4 Platinum sensors. First week went good. Today Dexcom mobile device alerted us that we have to change sensor. Dexcom officially said that sensor lasts only one week, but i see some answers here that can be used more than one week. If you are experienced with this device, please respond. Thank you in advance.
yes, you can re start the sensor again by pressing stop sensor and then re start. The same warm up procedure will happen as before so just wait for the reminder to do the first bg calibration and then wait for the second reindeer for the 2nd calibration and then away you go again. Many get about 3 weeks use out of a sensor and it's not perfect but very good. I am on day 27 at the moment and it's still good.
