A nurse I know's son us using a Dexcom (only CGM available in the US, I think Libre was approved recently) and he said there's a new model coming out that doesn't need the reader thing, just a cell phone. Is that what the G5 is and is that true? I'm still considering one myself but would want the latest model of course.
