Hello Brothers and Sisters,

I am new to this forum. I am 30 years old. I am diabetic (Type2) since May-2009. I am taking oral medications.
Morning : Zoryl2 (Glimepride 2mg + Metformin 500 mg)
After Dinner : Galvus Met (Vildagliptin 50 + Metformin 1000).

I have sever acidity. is this related with medicines or DM.

Thanks in Advance

Hello DeepSoft,

Acidity or reflux problems are very frequently caused by too much weight round the stomach which encourages hiatus hernia condition to exist.

Many years ago I had HH and took the doctor's advice to " lose some of that tummy" and it worked a treat.

If the acidity is mainly at night - leave longer period before retiring after dinner and raise the head of the bed.

When I was in the UK I remember taking Tums which worked beautifully; here I take Polysilane (Dimetilpolisiloksan, AI(0H)3, Mg(0H)2)which is better than anything I could find in the UK and for that wicked heartburn is a fantastic and immediate liquid solution. Google it if not readily available in the UK or elsewhere.

Good luck

I've cut out a lot of fat, watched the calories, lost 3 1/2 stone, and have gone from living on anti acids to none.

So a culmination of years of overeating the wrong type of food in my case.
