Diabetes and facial spasms

So recently I’ve noticed I’m getting spasms in my eyes/upper cheek area
I’ve had eye twitches in the past when tired or run down but they now seem to have spread to my cheek - has anyone ever experienced something similar? I will give my nurse a ring in the morning to discuss but was curious if anyone else experienced something similar?
