Diabetes and M.E. and depression

Type of diabetes
Type 2
Hello, introduced myself here the other day, type 2, got all three of the above together, had the M.E. for 15 years, way before the diabetes, anyone else dealing with this combo and how are they coping?

I have a form of chronic depression - atypical, mostly physiological symptoms and related to SAD/hibernation.

It responds poorly to SSRIs (not uncommon) best to tricyclics but the side effects are a bit funky, venlafaxine (Effexor) is a good compromise FOR ME (may cause horrendous side effects and withdrawal effects if it doesn't like you, but for me it does esxactly what it says on the tin)

The interesting thing is that since controlling my BG I have reduced my dose from 225mg to 37.5mg and since adding Vitamin D3 I have reduced to 17.75mg

What I'm suggesting here is that there are interractive effects within the endocrine system and out into the neurotransmitter system in which ME may also be involved, so improving one factor may have knock on effects to other symptoms. Similarly hypothyroid often affects both depression and diabetes.
