Diabetes and NoroVirus

I've had quite an afternoon of it. Wasn't feeling great all day but hadn't been sick or had 'the runs' so at lunchtime I had my 8 Cp's and 12units Novorapid. Within 1/2 hr my BG was 1.8! Several CP's (fruit juices, jelly babies) later it was still way too low. After spending 1/2 hr on the phone with NHS24 for them to tell me I was doing the right thing loading with carbs and they didn't know why it wasn't working either, I followede their final bit of advice and phoned my GP. After discussion we agreed that I had a low level dose of Noro virus that was preventing me from getting the carbs I was eating (how does that work?) and suggested I use the Glucagon I keep at work. Did this and now my BG is 16.8! Since I can't eat anything how much BD insulin should I take (I use Lantus, normally 14units) and how much corrective QI should I be looking at as I don't want to crash down and need more Glucagon to get back up. Help!

Just did some blood tests, BG now 17.8, ketones 2.2. I've taken my standard 14units of Lantus to see if this would help.
