Has any one else got this coupling of two chronic conditions?
It is really tiring and the drug regime is immense. I take 9 different drugs a day (incl two types of insulin) and 11 over the week including very strong ones for the arthritis. Blood test monthly.
I was wondering how others coped.
My BG ave is 6.1 and I saw the clinician yesterday and she suggested that I was over aggresive with maintaining this, as it was lowering my hypo awareness, 2.9 and only a slight dizzeness.
I have been on insulin for 13 years, and do not get that low as a norm maybe once a month on average, when I stray from my routine.
I also take waferin for artierial fribulation which the clinician attributes to the diabetes.
You have to keep smiling.
