I have been type 2 Diabetic for about 17 years and had my second seizure 3months ago. My insulin was changed now levels through the roof, only way they get below 10 2 hours after is go for a walk.At the moment they are 18 and it's 11pm but in the morning they will be under 10,I can't risk going low again.Try and keep like all of us a good diet but the colitis does prevent me eating a high firbre diet.

No, I'm type 1 and have ulcerative colitis. I'm obviously very fortunate as the only time my uc affects my diabetes is when I'm on steroids. If ur on medication for ur uc u should maybe chk with ur gp that they dnt hav sugar in the coating. Last year my meds got changed n my sugars were through the roof (sitting between 15-30 all the time). Eventually we realised it was actually my tablets!

I also avoid red meat and takeaways as they're murder for me. I know that fizzy juice and caffeine affect me quite badly too do I'm trying to cut them down
