Hi

If anyone would like to chat to my son, Marc, drop me a pm. We live in Scotland.

He's 15 and was diagnosed in April 2006. He doesn't know what type he is yet and is waiting on genetic tests to be done. He is insulin dependant, 3 x Novorapid and 1 x Lantus a day.

Hi if he is a juvenile on insulin then he is Type 1 diabetic which means insulin dependant diabetic.

Hi Rach

No, he's not diagnosed yet, and is waiting for gentic tests. He may have MODY. So he has no specific diagnosis yet, but is treated with insulin.
