Hi i have thos have suffered from it the past 8 years now its not all bad days most days am sick n pain in my stomach i have to eat small meal portions instead of normal meal its had its ups n downs but its got so much easier when i started having small meals n cut out some food now im not as sick as much im awaiting surgery for a pace make ro help with it x

So it seems to completely depend pain wise, affects everyone differently. I was on a morphine drip and ICU with it for 4 months, but have now not had an attack for over 8 years. However, lots of people I know are able to continue well with only some pain and can take paracetamol.

Hope this gives some reassurance
