Diabetic Review - statins, testing, and and strips

Fantastic job! Now I'm wondering which nurse you see. I like mine but I've been cagey about the amount of carbs I eat in case it spoiled our relationship . I simply said I've lowered my intake. Her initials are ES. Last time we spoke she said she wanted to cry because I'd done so well.

Well done again. I'm so pleased for you.

Thank you, but I have a way to go to be as good as you. We have a different nurse. Mine is JMc. I told her straight I was on about 70g carbs. She looked stunned and that's when she told me to eat some bread every day and asked me if I felt OK. She then warned me to increase the carbs if I exercise a lot. I just nodded. Other than that there were no comments. She is very anti low fat products.

Ah. I don't like Deet products either. I've bought some Avon Skin So Soft, plus some antihistamine cream and hydrocortisone cream to help with the after effects. Hopefully we won't need them.

I remember my first meeting with my nurse. She went throught the T2 booklet with me and when we got to the eat well plate she told me to be careful with the amount of carbohydrate but didn't go down the LC route with me. She also gave me a meter when I asked for one. I looked on the surgery website to see if any doctors in the castle practice have any experience with D. It happens that Dr F and Dr G have and interest. Dr G is my doctor although I've never met her.

You are doing just as well as I am! Only a slight difference and it's negligible.

Well done!
