I just thought of this tip last night and just got to share it

I have a calf muscle that sometimes drives me crazy and I have been punching it to stop it feeling so crampy or restless and driving me nuts

I found relief wearing what the call diabetic socks which I bought for $30-00 from the chemist

here is some information

http://www.therawear.com/

the brand I bought are Jobst

I tend to get calf muscles acting up towards the evening so i wear mine at night in bed and it really helps

perhaps this is something that may help you too

cheers

Thanks for the post, I will def check them out. I hate it when I get restless legs, it feels like I've got something crawling up and down the bones in my legs. I've been taking 10mg of amitripyline at night but if it's bad I can take up to 30mg which helps but sometimes when I wake up for the loo or something it can start up again. Enough to drive you maaaaaad!!

I know the feeling well

Hi All .
Sometimes Diabetic socks can be a bit 'pricey' ...
I have discovered my local market has a great range of them various colours
plus thermal ones and seam free if needed, at a reasonable £3.50 a pair.
Last ones I bought had cost me £15 for just 2 pairs of these
So I have bought 4pairs of the bloke on sock stall in the market

I used to take pregablin for my neuropathic leg and feet pain have now recently
switched to amitripyline and am finding it much better .
Only thing is have to take it 7-8pm at night or else it leaves me too
groggy headed in the mornings!

Anna.
