Diabetics R Us

If you ever have a stubborn high and plan to prepare dinner at the same time, and you do a little bit of rage-bolusing/stacking, and then find out you suddenly have baby-guinea-pigs running around in the guinea-pig pen instead of cooking, you'll end up A: Trying to take a picture of the babies, which won't work, as their little instincts work just fine and they'll hide under the bushes, and B: sipping undiluted lemonade instead of having dinner.
And none of this matters, as you'll still have lovely little baby guinea-pigs!
I'll just sit out the hypo with my lemonade (don't dare navigating stairs to find something better as meter confirmed 3,4 so I'll stay where I am) and don't care about diabetes because, hey, baby guinea-pigs! Life is wonderful!
Hope I can show you a picture tomorrow!

Oh, undiluted lemonade worked better than I thought. From 3.4 to 6.9 in less than 15 minutes... Rest of the night will probably be a mess and cost lot of test strips, but I still got baby guinea-pigs, so who cares!

You have a beautiful mind!

Baby guinea-pigs are very cute. How many?

Two, as far as I could see (they were hiding, I have a pretty big pen with bushes, so not completely sure). But I've probably got another two pregnant guinea-pigs as well . My other 7 guinea-pigs are rehomed from a shelter, but the last 3 come from my neighbour. He had an accident with male and female piggies, so we sorted their offspring and I took the females to join my group of females plus neutered male. A bit too late, obviously . We'll sort the little ones as soon as they are between 5 and 6 weeks, and the males will return to the neighbour.

And back to 3.5 and more lemonade. That'll teach me to rage-bolus. At least now I remember why I usually stay pretty low carb
. Too bad I'm never hungry when hypo. Ah, well, I still have guinea-pigs.

Good night Duckies. I may be going to the garden centre tomorrow, if this going out lark carries on I shall be getting a reputation

I have a couple of bunnies. Well Rabbits they are about 12 pounds each. Pretty ugly when they are born compared to Guinea-pigs.
I got mine neutered because I only wanted two.

Anyone else experience uncontrollable laughing, especially about their own jokes but in general as well with the slightest reason as a hypo symptom? I kinda like it. I have to see how it works exactly, but it looks like it's an early warning to me

Could you post a picture? I like rabbits as well (currently have 2 ladies) but I like the guinea pigs more because tey're so vocal!

Let me see if I can find one to post.
Funny I like that other then thumping and a grunt here and there, that my bunnies are not vocal. Lol

Oh s
Mine live in my garden, and not in my house. That might make a significant difference
So do mine. They have a lovely apartment that MrHotpepper built. They sleep in there at night and during the day roam around the backyard. They come in the house for visits though.

Good morning all. Hope you weren't up all night with the roller coaster hypo @Antje77 I don't suppose its very nice the following day. Take it steady, lad.
