Thanks! It levelled out at around 2, nothing too bad as I didn't have to get up until 10.
And now I've ended up wih four surprise sleep-over doggies on top of my own three plus two cats after my neighbours' birthday party . And I expect to wake up to more baby guinea-pigs tomorrow or the day after, and two of the extra dogs will stay tomorrow night as well, and I've managed BBQ, beer, booze, BG and icecream perfectly throughout the party and after, so I'll go to my very crowded bed perfectly happy tonight

Hah! My eldest was in meetings all day yesterday in dat der London and is sight seeing on my behalf before he returns to the north later today. Photos of Temple Church. He suggested a trip down there so I could see stuff myself, I couldn't possibly do London, a trip to the local garden centre was enough to lay me out flat. Nice thought though.
 
Hi everyone. 5yr old woke us all up at 6am on a Saturday morning. He keeps refusing to get out of bed for a wee, again. He has periods like this. He has met his new teacher, who is his old nursery teacher. However, they are emptying the class of what they've made into their trays for last week (next week) for 6wks close down. Little one doesn't like even subtle changes, it unnerved him. It is disturbing his sleep. And ours.
11yr old just wants the 6wks to start. He loves his new school. He's ready to be around older children, has been for a while. We are awaiting his sat results now.
Always seem to be waiting for something, me.
 
I'm getting excited to met my bariatric surgeon. It feels like I'm getting somewhere now. Sustaining my weight even though metformin is constantly holding me back from my pass successes on weight loss. I'm trying my best. All I can do.
Excited to be closer to less insulin and less overweight. New clothes are in and ready for use. I may need some other new tops next year. I cannot wait to see the weight loss and feel lighter. My back will appreciate it. I want to get rid of my stick/crutch too. Physio specialist is on board so I'm hoping together we can do it. Maybe my nipped nerve will release. I'll be able to get back to normal. Maybe off insulin. You never know. I'm going to try my best. Low carbing only helps but doesn't solve all my problems. I'm sure this won't either but what's left I can work on.... as usual.
Does chris come on here @Cumberland ?

I miss our peak flow of humour and getting to know each other.
I'm so busy with kids and home I can only pop in in stages.
I use you all.
Wish I had a magic wand to make us all non-diabetic, permanently. However I'm lucky mine has brought me here.
Loads of great people.
 
Desperately needing room in the freezer for icecream (not for me, well, not most of it, but as a dessert at my neightbours birthday party. And anyway, they are only 11 gr. carbs per icecream) is an acceptable reason to practice ones skills in dosing for Chinese takeaway leftovers, isn't it?
And no, I won't combine with the leftover icecream from yesterday. I think. Unless I overdid the insulin of course...

Hope you've had a great Saturday and are looking forward to Sunday. @Antje77 where's the pics of the mini pigs? My poor cat hates this weather, he's gone all droopy and lethargic. Two more weeks and we break up from school!!! Yippee!
