Diabetics R Us

Morning all.
I have the day to myself as everyone here has already gone out to work. Not sure what to do with it - should do housework but for now I’m back in bed with a cuppa and the papers, radio on, bliss.
Have a great day all.
Enjoy the peace & quiet

So sorry about your dog. Having had dogs all my 70 years I know how heartbreaking it is to lose one, and every time it happens it is worse than the previous.

I have had boxer dogs since being 9 years old and introduced them to my hubby. At one time we had 7 of them! Sadly we had to come to the conclusion that boxers are too big and strong for old wrinklies like us, so we downsized and bought a Boston Terrier (English variety, not a US variety) when we were down to one boxer. She is a mini-boxer and an absolutely delightful little dog. Small, finely boned, gorgeous. She is in my avatar. Our last ever boxer died last year, but little Ness helped us through it all. It was her 3rd birthday while we were on holiday. She got a lot of cuddles, a huge beef marrow bone from the butcher that was as big as she is, and a cold sausage!.

She is adorable - those eyes would melt your heart!
We will definitely be getting another, eventually. We’re not quite ready yet but we all know it’s inevitable, in spite of the pain of loss.
