Wow. You know it might be the same for me. I stopped cheese, cream, butter but only have cheese very occasionally and butter too. You know I tthink your post has really solved a huge puzzle for me. Porridge with milk and banana in hospital made mine worse. Must have been milk? I hiccip on milk in coffee but not black coffee.

Lactose intolerance gets more common as the years go by, and is very common in cats (hence the petfood manufacturers sell lactose free milk for cats).
My partner gets lacotse intolerance just like described on the internet; one can buy lactase capsules to digest the lactose (take at start of meal) from Holland and Barrett - they are quite expensive, but if one waits, they are often on special offer. My partner takes them before meals that she knows will upset her and when eating out with friends who might serve anything.
Lactose is hidden everywhere - like hot dog sausages etc - not sure why the manufactirers do this.
best wishes
Hello
Yes i am glad i got the bottom of this i have had a lot of food allergy's over the years but never through to think about dairy, I was having some tea a few nights ago and the symptoms seem to have gotten worse when i had it so i ended up going for black tea only and i have nothing since then i tried some milk again and they were back... i have so far tried almond milk that didn't go so well with my stomach tho. Now to try some Soya milk! Chocolate soya milk is fine but now i need to try the original. Will also be trying some coconut butter for baking.
Also happy to know that it has helped some of you also, Hopefully you can get it sorted to!
