Sending you hugs, and it's good that you reached out to the forum. Rather than skipping insulin doses and ending up with high blood sugar and ketones and eventually DKA which is dangerous, maybe try low carb meals to lose weight.

Do you have a hospital team that you see for your diabetes? If so, I'd encourage you to contact them or your gp, to get some help or counselling.
